Child Protection & MHPSS Program
The Child Protection & MHPSS Program aims to enhance psychological protection for children and provide necessary psychosocial support in affected areas, where children are exposed to stress and trauma resulting from the brutal war against them.
The program focuses on creating a safe environment for children, supporting their mental and social well-being, and empowering them to cope with stress and fear in a healthy and safe manner. It includes a range of core activities designed to achieve psychological safety and protection.
Key Program Activities
- Psychosocial support sessions and activities to help children overcome emotional and psychological trauma.
- Recreational events to provide a safe space for fun and social interaction.
- Protection activities, such as establishing child-friendly spaces, community awareness, and following up on the most vulnerable cases.
- Distributing medical kits/packages for sick children to ensure they receive health and therapeutic support.
- Providing clothing for children to meet their basic needs and enhance their sense of security and care.
Through these efforts, the program contributes to building a supportive and safe environment for children, restoring their sense of reassurance, and strengthening their resilience amidst difficult circumstances.
