Shelter & Non-Food Items (NFIs) / Winterization Program
The Shelter & NFIs / Winterization Program aims to protect the most vulnerable families during the winter season by providing shelter and essential non-food items that ensure they live with dignity and safety in harsh weather conditions.
The program works to meet the needs of families for winter clothing, blankets, and warm apparel, in addition to providing mattresses and tarpaulins to ensure a safe and warm living environment.
Key Program Activities
- 1- Distributing winter clothing kits to ensure warmth for children and families.
- 2- Distributing blankets and winter apparel to brave the freezing cold.
- 3- Providing mattresses to improve the quality of shelter.
- 4- Distributing tarpaulins (plastic sheeting) to provide safe temporary shelter in the most devastated areas.
Through these efforts, the program contributes to protecting families from the risks associated with cold weather, restoring their sense of safety and stability amidst difficult and harsh conditions.
